Terms of service

MorseHub is sold by The Horizon Store, the trade name of Christopher Martin, a sole proprietor in Pennsylvania. In these terms "we" means The Horizon Store and "you" means the person using MorseHub.

Payments are processed by Stripe. The checkout page and your receipts come from Link, which is the merchant of record for the sale.

MorseHub relays the texts on your phone to the computers you pair, so you can read and send them there. Texts still go out from your phone, through its SIM, on your carrier's plan. Your carrier's charges and limits still apply.

You set up the phone app yourself over ADB, on one of the phones listed on morsehub.net. Your phone, its SIM and its carrier plan are yours to look after.

The free trial lasts 15 days from the day your phone registers. It needs no card. Each phone number gets one free trial, and we check the number with a code we text to it.

If the trial ends and you have not subscribed, the account is paused. See Paused accounts below.

You pay for the first 3 months up front. After those 3 months, billing goes monthly on its own until you cancel.

• The first 20 paying customers pay $15 for the first 3 months, then $5.99 a month.
• Everyone after that pays $20 for the first 3 months, then $7.99 a month.

Prices are in US dollars and do not include sales tax. Where tax applies, it is added on top and shown at checkout.

If you subscribe during your free trial with 2 or more free days left, you keep them: the 3 paid months start when the free days end. With less than 2 days left, the paid months start right away.

Your receipt for the first charge reads "MorseHub, first 3 months". From the fourth month on, receipts read "MorseHub monthly".

A founder spot is yours once your payment goes through. The founder price of $5.99 a month stays the same for as long as that subscription stays active.

If you cancel and come back later, you pay the regular price at that time.

Cancel any time in Manage subscription. MorseHub keeps working to the end of the period you already paid for, then the account is paused.

That includes the first 3 months. Canceling inside them means the monthly billing never starts, but there is no partial refund for the time left.

If we refund a payment in full, the subscription ends and the account is paused right away. Your saved texts are kept for 30 days after that, then deleted.

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again. MorseHub keeps working for 7 days. If the payment still has not gone through by then, the account is paused until you fix the card in Manage subscription.

When an account is paused, your phone and computers disconnect and nothing new is stored. Your saved texts stay on the relay, locked.

If the pause is because a free trial ended, a subscription ended or a payment was refunded, the saved texts are deleted 30 days after the pause. We email you 7 days before that happens. Subscribe again inside those 30 days and the same account comes back, with no new setup.

MorseHub is not an emergency service. It cannot reach 911, and a text sent through it can be late or not arrive. In an emergency, call or text from the phone itself.

MorseHub is for your own texts. No spam, no bulk or automated marketing texts, nothing illegal and nothing that breaks your carrier's rules.

The relay can cap how many texts go out in an hour or a day. We may pause an account that breaks these rules.

MorseHub is provided as is. We work to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, or that every text arrives on time.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for missed or late texts or for indirect losses, and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid for MorseHub in the 3 months before the problem.

We may change these terms or the prices. We email you before a change takes effect. A price change does not touch a founder price while that subscription stays active.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.
